Growing up outside of Detroit, Billy developed an ear for funk, RnB and EDM at an early age. He began playing classical piano at the age of 7 and continued on into the world of jazz, improvisation and music theory. He attended the National Music Camp in Interlochen and wrote musical theater for the Triangle Club at Princeton University. He has developed his electronic-based repertoire through studies at Berklee School of Music in Boston, Dubspot in New York and Point Blank in London.
After residencies in New York and LA, Billy moved to Chicago where he absorbed the sounds of House that dominated the local scene. Today he divides his time between Austin, Detroit and New York.
